No. Matterport is a closed platform that automates capture and hosting. We hand craft the visuals to architectural photography standards, design the navigation especially for your audience, and give you the full files so you’re not tied to a single platform.
Matterport also does not currently integrate Gaussian Splatting into their 3D view.

Street View is built for public roads and a simple look around. Our tours are purpose built for your site with proper image quality, clear routes, your branding, and features like floor plans, notes, and live-guided sessions.
However we can upload a basic version your tour to google street view, which can let visitors see inside your space from google maps etc.

It's a new way to create 3D models that uses millions of soft points carrying colour and brightness. It handles fine detail and natural light better than basic polygon meshes (traditional photogrammetry), so the result looks much more lifelike.
-
The training process uses machine learning techniques to optimize millions of points from your photographs, but it's not generative AI creating or inventing content. The model is built entirely from real photographs captured on site, the machine learning simply organises that photographic data more efficiently than traditional 3D reconstruction methods. What you see in the final model comes directly from what was photographed, which is why careful capture with proper equipment and and good natural lighting is essential for quality results.
All processing is done offline, locally on powerful PCs.

Our tours are captured at a extremely high resolution at around 700 megapixels per panorama using the Fujifilm GFX system. Despite this enormous size, they load instantly in any browser because the tour only loads the exact portion of the image you're currently viewing.
If you need a higher resolution, Gigapixel (over a 1,000 Megapixels) panoramas can be created by capturing and stitching hundreds of high-resolution images into a single 360° view. The result allows viewers to zoom in to a very large amount while maintaining photographic clarity. Ideal for very detailed areas, technical or historic documentation and showcasing wide landscapes or ‘cityscapes’.
-
Yes. Raw 360° panoramas can be delivered as standalone images for your own use, whether that's for internal documentation, adding to your own systems, or future tour development. These are fully processed, high-resolution images ready to use however you need.
-
A 360 tour moves you between fixed viewpoints with very sharp image quality. A 3D model lets you fly freely and look from any angle. Many clients combine both and switch between them.
-
Yes. We have qualifications from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) that allow us to fly in congested areas and near to the general public / uninvolved people.
We will also handle any special permissions needed for flying near airports or other restricted areas.
-
Yes. You receive the final deliverables. You can host with us, host on your own servers/intranet, or run the tour/model offline for secure environments.
-
Yes. We can show a floor plan alongside the view and add hotspots with text, photos, videos, or links to documents and inductions.
We can even integrate pass/fail tests and quizzes inside the tour.
-
Yes. You can host remote walk-through’s, control the view for attendees, and point out details in real time.
-
Yes. Tours and models work on desktop, tablet and mobile; VR headsets are supported for immersive sessions.
-
Yes. We can capture the images with minimal disruption and deliver offline packages that never leave your network. Editing and processing is completely offline and does not use cloud computing.

Smaller spaces can take just a few hours. For larger areas would normally need a day. We’ll share a simple prep list (access, clearing of routes/spaces, any safety or PPE requirements) before we arrive.
-
You’ll get the most value if you:
Manage complex or high-profile spaces (universities, hospitals, construction sites, public buildings, museums).
Need accurate, natural looking visuals for reviews, training, handovers, or public engagement.
Want control over branding, structure, and features (floorplans, safety notes, guided mode, multi-language).
Require flexible delivery (web, intranet, or fully offline for secure sites)
Care about long-term use. You want files you own and can re-host later.
-
It may not be the best fit if you:
Just need a quick, low-cost scan to tick a box and don’t mind softer image quality.
Can only use a locked, single-vendor platform with no need to keep the files.
Have no time for planning routes or access (we keep it light, but quality still needs a little prep).
Need instant same-day turnaround on large/complex sites (we can move fast, but craftsmanship takes a beat!).
-
You get visuals planned and finished to photography standards: careful camera heights, straight lines, natural colour, and clean contrast.
We stage scenes, time the light, and blend exposures so materials look like they do in real life. That’s why your tour/model feels crisp, readable and professional, making it more like architectural photography than a quick scan.
-
Yes. Many clients book a single shoot for stills, 360 tours and 3D models. That means consistent lighting, colour and composition across everything. Perfect for websites, tenders, training, and press.
